B2C e‑commerce solution with Visma.net, PIM and flexvoucher

Superhelten Legetøj ApS is a toy shop with 4 physical shops on Zealand and a central warehouse in Glostrup. Superhelten uses Visma.net - a standardised, cloud‑based ERP system. The ERP system has an open REST API, which makes it possible to connect external systems and extend the ERP system's basic functionality that way.

The WMS system Lagersystem.dk handles picking, packing and shipping at the warehouse in Glostrup, and FlexPOS is used as the till system in the shops.

Product creation, purchasing, goods receipt, planning and pricing are handled in Visma.net and Lagersystem.dk, and this information flows continuously into their e-commerce solution and is used actively in their online sales. The integration with PIM means data no longer has to be maintained in two places.

The e-commerce solution consists of a webshop front end based on Umbraco CMS, integrated with Visma.net and the chainbox.io data platform.

All product data and publishing of products online is managed in the PIM system, and sales orders flow back to Visma.net without friction.

Some of the most important criteria in Superhelten's solution are supporting sales in the physical shops and the events they run, and supporting the active online communities they have on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The flexibility of the Umbraco CMS solution is therefore central when setting up content aimed at these channels.

As a toy retailer, the range changes all the time, and large parts of it are discontinued once stock runs out. So it's critical to have a fast workflow for enriching and publishing products to the webshop, and automation that handles the product lifecycle and makes sure products drop out of the online range smoothly when they sell out.

Supporting sales in the physical shops

Through the Visma.net integration, every product shows current stock per location, so visitors can easily see where to go and buy the item if they need it today.

Visitors can order online and choose to collect directly from the shops or from the warehouse in Glostrup.

Physical and digital flexvoucher gift cards

The FlexPOS system used as the till in Superhelten's shops has an add-on module for issuing and handling both physical and virtual gift cards. This has been built into the webshop, so customers can buy a “last-minute” gift by email that they can print themselves - or use a gift card they bought in one of the physical shops online.
