Sales Insight

Makes ERP data available to sales reps and management in a simple interface.

Get more out of your ERP data

A quick overview of customers, sales and data, without working in the ERP system.

The module makes it easy to find and understand the ERP data that matters day to day. Sales reps get a quick customer overview, management can follow how sales are developing, and the business gets a simple tool for checking whether the data looks right.

It's all in one simple web-based interface, built directly on the data you already have in your ERP system.

What the sales rep needs, right at hand

Before a customer meeting, the sales rep shouldn't have to spend time finding their way around the ERP system.

A quick lookup gives access to the customer's master data, contacts, history, open orders and sales trends. The sales rep can see what the customer buys, what's changed and where there might be relevant opportunities.

Sales Insight also works on mobile, so the customer can be looked up on the way to the meeting. If an order needs placing, that happens in the webshop, where the sales rep can log in and buy on behalf of the customer. The two complement each other: Sales Insight to prepare for the meeting and the webshop to place the order.

If the sales rep has a gap in their calendar, "Nearby" shows customers sorted by distance from where they are, so they can see who's worth dropping in on.

  • Customer and contact details

  • Invoice and credit note history

  • Open orders

  • Revenue and purchase history

  • Best-selling products

  • Sales by product group

  • Customer location on a map

Each sales rep sees their own customers

Access is controlled in two layers, as on the rest of the platform. First, your administrator decides who has access to Sales Insight. Inside the app, you control which customers each person can see: by default per role and department, and on an individual user you can set a customer filter, for example by country or sales rep code, which takes precedence over the role's access.

So the sales rep sees their own customers, the area manager sees the customers of the sales reps they're responsible for, and the sales director or owner sees everything.

See quickly what's changing

It's not just about seeing revenue, it's about spotting the trends behind the numbers.

Get an overview of Top 100 customers across countries and currencies, compare periods and drill down from the headline figures to the individual customer, product group or product.

That makes it quick to identify customers who are buying less, customers who are growing, or product areas where the trend is out of line.

Sales Insight also knows your PIM, so revenue can be broken down by the categories you've built in PIM, not just by the ERP's product groups.

The top 100 list follows the user's customer filter, so it isn't just for management. Each sales rep can use it to spot outliers and trends in their own customer portfolio.

You can also choose which customer and product fields sales reps can filter the statistics by, for example customer groups, postcodes or categories. Then they can see on the spot which customers have the highest revenue in spare parts, or who buys a particular brand.

Find what the customer isn't buying

A customer rarely buys everything that could be relevant to them.

With the module's negative list, you can see the product groups the customer doesn't buy. The list is usually set up by product group rather than individual item number, so it points to whole areas where there's room for more sales. That gives the sales rep a concrete basis for spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Simple access to ERP data

The module uses the data you already have in your ERP system, for example Uniconta, Business Central or NAV, through the platform's integration. There's no need to set up a new data source or a separate analytics project to get access to the relevant information.

It gives staff who mainly need to see, understand and work with data much simpler access than a traditional ERP interface.

Use it to check your data too

Sales Insight isn't just a tool for sales and management. It's also a quick place to check data.

For example, the webshop can limit the range based on a field on the customer and a field on the product. If the product's blocked countries field says "DK", the product isn't shown to customers with the country code "DK".

If a Swedish customer calls, wondering why a brand that should be available in Sweden can't be bought, the sales rep can look the customer up in Sales Insight and see whether the customer has the country code "DK" in the ERP by mistake, even on their phone while on the road.
