Webshop Management

For those of you on Chainbox Webshop: customer logins, orders, searches and vouchers in one place.

Part of Chainbox Webshop

Webshop Management comes with Chainbox Webshop and is only relevant if your webshop runs on it. The app is built for running the webshop and uses product data from Chainbox PIM and customer data from the integration with your ERP system.

It's the app your customer service team uses to serve customers in the webshop and support your sales reps. This is where you create users, reset passwords, follow orders, keep an eye on searches and create vouchers.

Users are linked to a customer account

The user logs in with their own email and buys on the account, and the order is placed on the account in the ERP with the customer's name from there. The order confirmation goes to the user's email.

An account can have several users - for example both the buyer and the workshop. When you create a user, you look up the account among the customers from the integration. Customers can change their own password on the webshop, and customer service can always reset it for them here.

If lots of customers need to get started at once, you import the users from a CSV or Excel file. Favourite lists can be imported too, so customers have their regular products ready the first time they log in.

Your own sales reps and other internal logins are managed along with the rest of your staff in the platform's user administration. If an employee wants to shop privately in the webshop, you create an employee customer account in the ERP and a user with the employee's private email, and they can then shop with the staff discount.

What customer service uses the app for

Your own fields on users

You can add extra fields to users and fill them in. The fields can be used to limit the range or for adjustments in the webshop, if something should work specifically for certain types of users.

Who has got started?

In the user list, you can see when each user was created and when they last logged in to the webshop.

If you're B2B, you can keep track of whether customers are being onboarded and logging in themselves, so the sales rep knows who needs a call. At the same time, you can keep tidying up inactive users in line with GDPR.

What are customers searching for?

Under Search, you can see what customers search for in the webshop, sorted by how often, over a period you choose. You can also see the searches that returned 0 results, and find general terms where product data needs updating in PIM.

If your customers use different words from you, you can build a synonym dictionary for search terms. For example, you can specify that a shifting spanner is an adjustable spanner, or that an Allen key is called a hex key in your product data.

Where's the order?

When customers are logged in to the webshop, they have access to the customer centre, which shows their open orders and invoice history from the ERP system.

If a customer calls about an order, customer service can see whether it has been transferred to the ERP or is queued for the next transfer.

The order gets an e‑number when it's placed in the webshop. The number is on the order confirmation and goes with it into the ERP, where the order gets its order number, so you can find it in both places.

Vouchers

You create vouchers yourselves for campaigns, for handling complaints or as a thank-you to your regular customers. A voucher gives a percentage discount, and you decide the period it's valid for, whether there's a minimum spend, whether it can be used more than once, and which products or product groups it applies to.
