B2C webshop with PIM and Uniconta integration
Since 2010, the owners behind Zoopet have run several physical pet supply shops on Zealand (Superpet and Centrum Dyrehandel). That gave them solid experience with purchasing, logistics and running a warehouse, which they wanted to make better use of by opening a B2C webshop.

Segment
The goal of the webshop is to offer customers good prices and fast delivery, which works well with the existing logistics setup.
The process
Zoopet got a new Uniconta setup to manage orders, invoicing, purchasing, stock and bookkeeping. All products and prices were brought in from existing systems, and Uniconta was ready shortly after.
Building on the integration with Uniconta, an e-commerce solution was set up with a PIM system and a B2C webshop with Umbraco CMS.
Images and texts were supplied by a partner and loaded straight into the PIM system, so Zoopet could get started refining texts and categories and building visual content.
Working directly with an external designer, a logo and colour palette were created, and the visual identity was set up in a few hours without using developers.
The necessary shipping methods were set up based on weight ranges, payment methods were added (Dankort, VISA and MobilePay), and the shop was ready for customers.
Zoopet knew that price was a key competitive factor and that prices would need to be monitored and updated continuously. So together we built an integration with Pricerunner that checks prices from selected competitors every few minutes and automatically lowers the price to the minimum Zoopet has chosen.
About the solution
Zoopet's solution is based on our standard integration with Uniconta and Umbraco CMS.
Stock per location
Through the Uniconta integration, every product shows current stock per location, so visitors can easily see where to go and buy the item if they need it today.
Visitors can order online and choose to collect directly from the shops or from the warehouse in Glostrup.
A focused B2C webshop
As a focused B2C business, it was important for Zoopet that buying was easy, clear and possible without logging in, and that the most requested marketing features could be added without extra development, including Sleeknote, Mailchimp, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics with GA4, e-mærket and later Trustpilot.
